The City Council of Roquetas De Mar has already prepared an emergency and security device for the Night of San Juan, which is celebrated on Thursday. This will ensure that the day develops smoothly, and the beaches are ready to go the next morning.
Gabriel Amat, the mayor, convened a meeting to prepare the device for a special night. The pandemic infected the city in 2002, and it is now that we are able to celebrate the shortest night in the year.
24 agents
24 agents from Roquetera Local Police, along with Civil Guard troops, will ensure security.
Three firefighters from the West Roquetas de Mar detachment will complete the operation, along with half a dozen Civil Protection volunteers, an ambulance and a few Civil Protection volunteers. There will also be four new lifeguards, who will be stationed on the beaches at Las Salinas, La Romanilla, and will assist in the rescue.
Cleaning
The cleaning plan, which has a long history of being very effective, leaves the coast clean and tidy every morning. The Department of Tourism and Beaches plans to hire 110 workers this year. This will ensure that tourists, locals, and visitors alike find the Rock coast in perfect shape. The collection of waste will be the main focus. Additionally, many dumper trucks, loaders, trucks and other endowments will be used.
The Environment and Health Area has scheduled a 40-person operation to clean the promenade. The work begins at 6 AM. It is hoped that the promenades, and eventually, the surroundings, of the beach, will be in perfect condition by ten o’clock in the morning.
In this particular case, there will be four washdown tanks, two foremen and 2 hydro-cleaner vehicles. A washer is also included.
