“As you all know, the Autonomous Community of Andalusia citizens are invited to vote in the regional elections on Sunday, June 19.
All legal citizens are entitled to exercise their constitutional right to vote. We can see that this right is less exercised among younger people, as we check the list of those who abstained from the last election.
We are fortunate to live in a democracy free from corruption, with consolidated rights. Rights that many people have fought for in the past, so that we can now enjoy them.
The right to vote is what makes us citizens free. It allows us to elect anyone we wish within the existing political parties. However, many people are reluctant to vote.
It is therefore vital that I make a huge call to all citizens to be involved in the democratic life at our institutions on a local, regional, and national level.
I am the general secretary of the PSOE Benamaurel and would like to request your support for Juan Espadas, our candidate, in the Andalusian elections. Juan Espadas is a social leader, in defense and promotion of public services and progress. But if you prefer another option, I encourage you to vote for whomever you wish next June 19. Please encourage your friends and family to exercise their democratic rights. Vote for yourself, don’t let others choose you.
