According to the EU Oil Bulletin, filling a vehicle’s tank with gasoline or diesel during the first summer operation, which began Friday at 3:00 pm and is expected to see around 4.5 million trips, will cost between 41 and 47 Euros on average.
As a guide, filling a 55-litre tank with diesel costs Spain an average of 115.5 euros. That’s almost 47 more than last year (a rise of 68.5%). However, gasoline 95 is more expensive than diesel and the average cost of filling a tank is 117 euros, which is 54% higher than the average price of filling a tank. This is compared to the 76 that was paid a year ago.
This puts Spain in eighth place in the rankings of the highest average gasoline prices in the European Union, at 2,128 euros per Liter, an unprecedented level in the country.
The prices of Spain are just behind those of Denmark (2.435), Finland (2.523), Greece (2.4), Greece (2.336), Sweden (2.181), Ireland (2.169) and Estonia (2.147). The average gasoline price in Spain was 1,383 euros per gallon a year ago.
Spain is ranked 10th in diesel prices with an average of 2.1 euros per gallon. It is outpaced by Sweden (2.489), Denmark (2.269), Sweden (2.185), Belgium (2.178), Ireland (2.149), France (2.13), Greece (2.126) and Latvia (2.107). The average diesel pump price was 16th 12 months ago.
Natural gas rises 6.4%
The regulated natural gas rates have increased by at least 6.411% for customers who are covered by the Last Resort Rate. The BOE published the July-October values for this contract. It is available to any consumer with a low-pressure network whose annual consumption of natural gas is less than 50,000 kWh.
