Real Betis Balompié is the first football club in LaLiga to obtain the ‘Cálculo 2021-2022’ seal from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge. It obtains this certification after registering its latest inventory of greenhouse gases (corporate carbon footprint) in the Carbon Footprint, Compensation and CO2 Absorption Project Register issued by the Government of Spain.
To calculate the environmental impact, the sports activities carried out at the Benito Villamarín Stadium and the Luis del Sol Sports City have been taken into account, as well as the emissions from both internal and external transport.
