He is a permanent member of the General Codification Commission, and his professional activity focuses on arbitrations, both national and international, in proceedings before the civil, criminal and contentious-administrative jurisdiction, and in advising on legal-administrative and constitutional matters. .

De Carlos expressed his gratitude to Uría’s partners for the support they have given him during his years at the head of the firm and expressed his conviction that, under the mandate of Jesús Remón and Salvador Sánchez-Terán, “respect for founding values is guaranteed”.

Sánchez-Terán, who has directed Uría since 2019, has also shown his gratitude to the partners for renewing their trust in him at the head of the firm and has expressed how excited he is to share the next mandate with Remón.
