Ibram X., a controversial author and advocate for critical race theory, was reportedly paid over $500 per minute to deliver a speech at University of Virginia in April 2021.

According to the Daily Wire’s contract, Kendi was paid $32,500 by the University of Virginia to host an hour-long discussion about “racial equality.”

According to Our academic mission is to provide access for the community to diverse speakers and viewpoints.

Young America’s Foundation on campus is a conservative group. It told the Daily Wire that it was “not familiar” about conservative speakers being invited to campus. They also said it is “shameful,” that the school allowed “such a racist figure to speak at the school.

Fox News asked the University of Virginia for comments on an invitation to conservative speakers to speak on campus. The University of Virginia didn’t immediately respond.

Kendi published a piece in The Atlantic last year that argued that there was “no discussion” about the validity of critical racism theory. This theory promotes the notion that America is inherently, systemically racist, and capitalism is also racist. Kendi said that Republican critics had created an “imagined beast”.

“The Republican operatives who dismiss the expositions by critical race theorists or anti-racists to define critical race theory, anti-racism and attack those definitions are effectively debating their own,” Kendi, a Boston University humanities professor and author of “How to Be an Antiracist,” wrote. They have created an imaginary monster to terrorize the American people, and they are now claiming themselves as the nation’s defenders against that monster.”

Kendi suggested that the Black Republican U.S. was suggested in April last year. Senator Tim Scott, who publicly denied that the United States was a racist country, was racist
Fox News reached out to Kendi but Kendi didn’t immediately respond.
