The american tv station ABC has announced that the 28-year-old Matt James from North Carolina will be the first black participant in a popular datingshow on the tv. The show ’the Bachelor’ has been posted in almost two decades.
Matt James, who is a real estate agent, to become the protagonist of the tv show in the next season, after there have been criticism of the lack of diversity in the program. The criticism has taken during the unrest in the UNITED states in connection with George Floyd’s death in connection with a violent arrest.
– We know that we have a responsibility to ensure that the love stories we see on the screen is representative of the world we live in, ” says Karey Burke, as head of the tv channel, which belongs to the Walt Disney Company.
