Soon, there may be several mundbind and plastikhandsker, which are drifting around in the oceans, than the jellyfish.
The many protective equipment that has been taken in use around the world under the coronakrisen, can contribute to the pollution in the oceans. A problem that is already threatening the flora and fauna.
How to warn a French environmental organisation named Opération Mer Neat (Operation Clean Sea, ed.), writes The Guardian.
– It is a promise about the pollution that will occur if nothing is being done, says Joffrey Peltier from the organization to the media.

Members of the organization dive often after the waste along The French riviera. They report that they are beginning to see mundbind, who runs around like jellyfish, håndspritflasker and water-filled latex gloves on the seabed.
According to the Joffrey Peltier there is no question that the organization has found ‘huge’ quantities.
But their findings have stirred up a concern that there has emerged a new form of pollution that will spread and become ubiquitous as a consequence of the fact that millions have used engangsplastik in the form of, for example, gloves and mundbind under coronakrisen.
Several countries have thus ordered large quantities of protective equipment during the crisis, including France, which, back in april, ordered almost two billion mundbind from China.
Opération Mer Neat hope that – by sharing the pictures taken during their dykketure – can get people to a higher level of use increased sink rather than gloves and masks, where it can be done.
With all of the alternatives are the plastic is not the solution to protect us against covid-19. It is our message, says Joffrey Peltier.
