Starting in February 2020, the app owned by Facebook will stop working on devices with the operating systems which are now obsolete: in particular, the iPhone with iOS 8 and OS earlier, and phones with Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread, launched in 2010) or earlier. In the case of Apple smartphone, therefore, you just have to have a model from iPhone 6 onwards. The service is no longer supported by Windows Phone already, starting from December 31.
