In the days in which the European Union presents the investment plan to become the first block of Countries in the world to climate impact to zero by 2050, the Group Lavazza accepts the challenge by the Ceo of the Carbon Neutral Challenge: Lavazza welcomes and supports the open letter of Marco Bizzarri, president and ceo of Gucci, who will show the contents of the upcoming World Economic Forum in Davos. The “challenge” proposed to give priority to the maximum reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases and to clear them, as the final measure, calling on the companies to act responsibly from the outset.
The idea is to stimulate the companies of each sector to invest in the efficient management of all processes, with the primary objective to minimise the impacts, and in parallel to implement projects to protect biodiversity and safeguard the world’s forests, thus helping to mitigate directly the climate change.
