according to Statistics finland’s preliminary data, the volume of gdp grew in July-September by 0.7 per cent from the previous quarter. Last year compared with the corresponding period, working-day adjusted gdp grew by 2.2 per cent.

Volume refers to data from which the effects of price changes have been removed.

the volume of Private consumption grew in the third quarter to 1.5 percent from the previous quarter and 2.4% year-on-year.

In the second quarter of this year, gross domestic product increased to the revised estimate of 0.8 per cent from the previous quarter and 1.4% year-on-year.

Also economists rejoice in the favourable developments. For example, Danske bank’s chief economist Pasi Kuoppamäki annealing that gross domestic product growth this year has accelerated dramatically.
