military dogs have been killed in an army barracks in Austria, a 31-year-old dog handler. As the Ministry of defence announced on Thursday in Vienna, have attacked the dogs, the officer apparently in the kennel.
A colleague found him with fatal injuries at night on Thursday. The 31-Year-old went on Wednesday at around 16 o’clock to the kennel to feed the dogs. About eight hours later, two free-running Belgian shepherd dogs were a duty officer in the barracks. A dog handler who wanted to lock up the two animals again, then found the dead colleagues.
The surveys the police had already informed the Ministry of defence. “The Federal army has set up an accident Commission, which consists of a veterinarian, a doctor and a legally qualified”, say it in a message.
In the Austrian Federal army currently uses 70 military dogs. 41 Rottweiler, 15 Belgian, and five German shepherd dogs, as well as nine Labradors are. (anf/dmj/sda)
