Not a Paradise, dear people, is free of charge. And who wants to be in this, in the midst of endless meadows and lush yellow canola fields, departs with the train to Winti, then with a second to Wülflingen and running finally, still a half hour walk. (Of course, Taxi goes also, but is never so romantic!) In any case, it is worth It. So. Not only because of the sensational home-made cakes on the target, but also because of the art that you get nowhere else so beautifully presented.
The sculptures and installations – 24 custom-made products! stand, lie down or snuggle under the open sky in the private, huge fruit and flower garden of the gallery Maja of Meiss trying for ten years, in the summer of artists invites, once as a landscape designer of some other kind. Last Time, Pipilotti Rist and Thomas Hirschhorn were, and the people were so keen to see some increased even at night, over the fence – no joke.
Heuer has guest curator Christoph Doswald (head of art in the public Space, city of Zurich) devised the bittersweet Motto of “Paradise Lost” and our favorite art brats, Beni Bishop, and the fantasy animal tamer Maya Scripts (aka Tika) for seven years. Tip: one of the special evenings with music and/or Talks go. Looks like a week of vacation.
