Journalist and soccer Olivier Sake went in search of the stories behind the moment of glory for all the Golden boot winners. Not only with an eye for the sporting impact, but also the human story – the one tragic, sometimes inspiring, or entertaining. Each time the story is accompanied by unique photographs.
The book is also a journey through the different succesgeneraties of blue-black. Sunday afternoon there were three united in Cafe Den Comptoir, on a sigh of the Jan breydel stadium. There was the book, ” The Golden Shoes of the Club is presented. With a regular visitor to Franky Van der Elst, Julien Cools and Paul Okon signed three of the ten different winners present. Together with televisiegezicht Luc Alloo took the three of them a dive into the rich history of their favourite club.
