Brussels-The C12 is a paradise for technoliefhebbers, but techno is all the years associated with drug use or abuse. We spoke with one of the owners of the Brusselde club, Kevin Huerta, on this subject.

There is a rumor that your security was involved in drug trafficking, is this correct?

“I can’t comment on rumors, because there are thousands. If that were true, then I am also not aware of. I can tell you what we are all doing to counter this.”

so There is no security dismissed because of drug smuggling?

“We are indeed the company has changed, but since the opening of the club we have been with four or five different security companies working on it.”

what is the change then?

“We made it difficult for people who fit within the ideology of the C12. For example, We have already heard that a security homophobic statements made. To be tolerant we are not. The C12 is a club that is open of spirit, where anyone can express how he wants it. In addition, there is also the problem that we have a proactive security want, not people who are strictly necessary. For example, if someone is sleeping in the chillroom must be the security to intervene more quickly and that was not so.”

What do you do against drug abuse?

“We can the drug use is not entirely prevented, but there is a zero tolerance. If someone is caught with drug dealing or drug use, then that buitengezet. We want the people informed about what they take, and a healthy environment created where everyone feels safe. We are working together with Quality Nights, and their flyers can get a bit everywhere in the club.”
