The solid Georgian international (31 years old, 41 caps) Beka Gigashvili has just extended his contract with Toulon this Thursday for three additional seasons. Arriving in France near Chambéry in 2015, he joined Grenoble for two seasons before settling down in the harbor in 2019. Quickly installed as a starter, the right pillar is a safe bet. Since 2019, he has played 84 matches for 10 tries scored.
“Beka Gigashvili is a player of great fighting spirit, and he is an invaluable asset to our team. We are delighted to see him continue to wear the colors of the club for the next three seasons. His commitment to the game and his character on the pitch are exemplary. We are convinced that Beka will continue to shine and help us achieve our sporting goals,” rejoiced Pierre Mignoni, the Toulon rugby director.
