There are only a few years ago, in 2013, of which Hilma af Klint’s magnificent, esoteric paintings for the first time was shown at the Modern Museum in Stockholm. Since then, the exhibition has made a success in different countries. In the new issue of New York review of books (4-17 april, 2019), write Susan Tallman on a book by Hilma af Klint, and two catalogues of her art – the one from the Guggenheim exhibition that is currently taking place, the other from an exhibition in Munich.
