Travel Near the Greek island of Alonissos is a remarkable ancient shipwreck: the remains of a gigantic cargo ship and its cargo of 4000 amphorae. The spectacular find is the first shipwreck that is made accessible to the public.

Until now, the rich Greek onderwatererfgoed only accessible for a select group of primarily archaeologists. Diving was until 2005 in the whole of Greece is prohibited, with the exception of a few specific locations, out of fear that divers off would go for the numerous antiquities which still are scattered across the seabed.
