High above the head of this wide blue sky, or collapse, under the feet soft Grass, and flattering, and often challenging sounds for the ears. This is a Feast! For the first Time, there is the “neuhard Berger singers meet” – of course the Open Air. Whether Klaus Hoffmann wool to the curate, asked one of Neuhardenberg. Clearly he wanted to. No Problem, he knows so many colleagues. Old companions, but also younger artists and artists he appreciates. “All of them have spontaneously agreed to,” Hoffmann says, as if he himself is amazed by. Perhaps it is in this unique place, of its romance Hoffmann enthuses. But perhaps everyone has simply in the mood for a nice with friends from the scene.
Klaus Hoffmann, Recently to be 42. (!) The Album was released under the title “aquamarine”, will moderate. But of course he will also sing himself, a mix of old and new songs, maybe even a couple of Songs by Jacques Brel. The Belgians had finally intrigued him early on, and be inspired to write their own Songs and to interpret.
A Major may declare Hoffmann: Erika Pluhar. Of your (life-)clever, often thought-provoking Songs fit well in this quiet area. If you will also sing one of their bitter evil of Vienna’s songs?
German dominated this singer meet, and so it is good that Etta Scollo is invited. The spirited Sicilian woman living in Berlin, mixes traditional sounds with Pop and Jazz. Scollo (“Singing gives me joy”) but can also be quiet and touched with her beguiling voice to the Innermost of their listeners.
Konstantin Wecker is fighting forever against the rights of currents
in The GDR raised Wenzel (“farewell”) is usually with the admonition, doubt songs on the go. Long ago, he sang about “The New people” and the modern travel described. And yet, it sounds like sealed: “Only the lazy soul comes to the sweating/ Over continents rushed without a without a trace/ devour, as the children of Liquorice/In minutes to thousands of years of culture.”
in 1998, it was, as Wenzel in his Song, “Search me not” at night “the onslaught of the pleasure of great hordes of” watching “a Demo, a user unschner masquerade parade!” and came to the conclusion: “Perhaps I have grown too old to vergrübelt and not positive enough.” For Hoffmann, Wenzel is “a real rebel”, but also “almost a Rimbaud.”
And Konstantin Wecker? “He’s the loudest of us,” says Hoffmann. Alarm clock call themselves “anti-fascist”, and actually is fighting today, 71-Year-old felt like forever against the rights of the currents. Unforgotten is his Bavarian ballad of “Willy”, (“yesterday habns to Willy daschlogn, and heit, heit, heit’m a begrobn”). In 1977, he wrote it and sings it, because it must be in these times, unfortunately, again, still. 2018 alarm clock has taken Sage under the title “no” anti-fascist songs from 1978 to today. But he will not sing however, in the neuhard Berger Idyll? It may be interesting. “He is a stage animal,” says Hoffmann about an alarm clock.

A bit of melancholy must the public endure
Since has brought the curator. The different characters of his friends, must bear in mind, in quiet natures to push something forward, and the Extrovert to capture. And even he has to create between the other Yes. To start, he will not, “the Yes tales of Hoffmann”. He probably would take the heart of Prague. And then maybe Katharine Mehrling? Award-Winning Actress, Singer, And Songwriter. Terrific interpreted (e) Edith Piaf – and songs in a way that you get goose bumps. “I run aimlessly through Berlin, I’m obsessed with the search for meaning,” for example. Always was and is the metropolis theme. The fourth Album (1978) by Klaus Hoffmann on was called “What can I in this city?”. A verse of it was this: “What I catch in this city/so much progress has need of it/but as a toothless woman on all New laughs/the bears for tourists masks/if your night Packed the Dirt/what can I do now?/what keeps me yet in this cold rusty fat, almost rotten bear city?“
The live arc between the departure and arrival will sing the song-makers also on the neuhard Berger stage. A bit of melancholy must withstand the audience at ease here, among the ancient majestic trees. Fits yet. Berlin in the country do not want, Yes only hooting, thigh-slapping fun.
All artists are “small Cutlery”, explains Hoffmann, so without a Band, with accordion, guitar or piano. “We create a place of longing”, it is stated he was a little ironic. And adds: “If the concept works, we want to organize every year a Singer.” Seen in this way, he could look out for comrades-in-arms for 2020. And maybe a couple of younger artists to invite. Perhaps a new Jacques Brel? The, Hoffmann, says it would be difficult. Who knows. Neuhardenberg is good for a small miracle.
