The Federal government wants to make a German contingent for the UN observation mission UNMHA in the civil war, the country of Yemen ready. A corresponding decision will be prepared for tomorrow. The UN security Council had in January the green light for the time being on the six-month observation mission UNMHA to monitor a ceasefire in the strategically important port city of Hodeida. At the time, the adopted Resolution provides for the posting of 75 unarmed observers to the Region.
