Londerzeel For the second time in less than five months time store Comcon unwanted visit. This time went four men went to the get with 30 to 40 laptops, MacBooks and iMacs, and money from the cash register. Good for a booty of about 25,000 euro. Manager Jurgen Sas recognizes the same ‘modus operandi’, and is convinced that it is the same perpetrators. “What more can I do to keep them out”, he asks despondently.
“Hola! Look who’s back with a vengeance.” The cynical post of the manager on Facebook speaks for itself. Store Comcon in the Meerstraat remains a prized target for burglars. The previous official dates yet but the 5th of november. In the night from Thursday to Friday, they hammered again around 3.15 pm.
“They got not through the backdoor as the last time – that we had strengthened – but through a window that they are forced to have,” says Jurgen Sas. “First they had – even though like five months ago, the fencing cut to the car park. They were indeed masked, but it is clear that it is the same perpetrators. I recognize even the same red shoes. They were clearly on their way. Just three minutes they are binnengeweest…”
