Movia does not want to reinstate the departure times at bus stops and lags, therefore, continue after the country’s other bus companies.
It writes the Helsingør Dagblad.
In the rest of Denmark has no plans to remove the passengers the opportunity to be able to see when the buses go when they are waiting on the bus.
This confirms a rundringning, Ekstra Bladet has made among four of the country’s total of six public companies.
the Movia published otherwise on Tuesday that it has decided to hang time intervals up on the liberal bus stops, so passengers in the future can see how often the buses go – but not when they go.
Community – 2. apr. 2019 – at. 14:49 of Older Matter on the Movia-promise: – Have in no way listened
the Reintroduction of the time intervals was Movia second attempt to respond to the scathing criticism which arose after the company at the turn of the abolition of all printed information from the stops. 27. February was decided, namely, to reinstate the ruteplanerne, which shows where the buses stop.
the Danish policy – 27. feb. 2019 – at. 17:59 Movia surrenders – almost: Put the schedules up again
But it does not change the fact that Sealand is today the only place in the country where passengers can see certain times when they are at a stop.
Chairman of the board hos Movia and the mayor of Hillerød municipality, Kirsten Jensen, told Ekstra Bladet 27. February, that a unanimous board had decided to bring the printed busplaner back to the life stops. Now, it should be exciting to follow, when it’s going to happen. Photo: Philip Davali
Only one other Danish company has in the past tried to remove the departure times from the stops, like Movia has done, and it was, to put it mildly, not particularly good.
It explains Claus Stensgaard Jensen, executive vice president of the it serves, who owns the bus company BAT.
In the summer of 2017, replacing the bornholm company information printed on bus stops with QR codes, passengers could use to inform themselves of, when the buses ran. Less than a year later, the criticism has grown so massive, that the times was hung up again.
– It was not taken particularly well received and among other things, we got pretty quickly ældreraadet on the back of the neck. The argument was that not all were digital and equipped with a mobile phone. It was not, because we dropped to make road maps, but it was still assessed that it was a serviceforringelse. Therefore, bad politicians BAT to hang these up again, says group managing director informs and adds:
– You must be very aware of what is being perceived as being serviceforringelser. It was what we learned in this case. We considered this as an improvement, but it was there, of course, a big part of our users who was not agree, he says to Ekstra Bladet.
On the Midttrafiks stops hangs there today boards, where you can see when the bus goes. Midttrafiks planchef, Ole Sørensen, explaining that it will be, even if you have discussed the possibilities to implement a complete digital transition like Movia.
– As has been shown in the Movia case, then perhaps the time is not quite ripe for that, we can divert ourselves completely to the digital. But I can well understand the desire, because the number of stops, both here and at Movia, is so huge, and it means that it is a very big task, if you need to change the stoppestedstavlerne, he explains.
I feel, in fact, dropped on the floor in one way or another, said the 82-year-old Annie Johanne Andersen of Ekstra Bladet, after Movia decided to abolish the printed information by the sealand stops. 27. On the nordjydske bus stops hangs there also signs that show certain times, and it was not even considered to change, explains Mette Henriksen, who is press officer at Nordjyllands Trafikselskab (NT).
– No, we have not considered, for we know that our customers are using the information out at the different stops. It is indeed something of the past, we would touch. When customers stand out at the stops and will inform themselves, it is not everyone who has a smartphone. We have good experiences to introduce digital approaches here in the north, but they can not stand alone, as it looks now, she says.

Also in the southern part of the country, the citizens will still be able to see when the buses go when they are standing at a bus stop. Do not Sydtrafik one has so much as considered whether the service should be abolished.
It explains Jette Lauridsen, head of customer and market with the south jutland bus.
– we have not, no. First, because there will be someone who still has the hard to find information online, and when you are standing out by the bus stops, it is actually quite important that you can see when the bus is running, without the need to stand and concentrate on how to find something on her cell phone. Therefore the information printed is not replaced, she explains.
Ekstra Bladet has tried to get a comment from the carl nielsen company FynBus, but it has not been possible.
the Company’s ceo, Carsten Hyldborg Jensen, however, has the opposite Helsingør Dagblad emphasised that you do not intend to remove the departure times from the bus stops.
