“Sentenced to remember meetings with the new app”
“People who are sentenced to probation, that is to say, serving sentences outside of prison, through a new mobile app, remember their meetings with the Correctional system, reports the Echo. There is a need of action, since many miss their meetings, according to Jerry Simonsson, as well as within the prison and Probation service that is responsible for developing the app.”
“– There is a problem, which is that it is difficult to remember and it may not be the highest priority in one’s life. We’re talking, after all, about the nature of people, ” says Simonsson and adds that the app probably will not help those who deliberately abuses his probation.”
“The people who have a punishment in the method during probation shall have regular contact with the Correctional system by, for example, counselling sessions as part of the treatment.”
“Any statistics on how many meetings are missed has not Correctional.”
