Håndboldkvinderne from Team Esbjerg had the roof in the Herning-Ikast Handball this week.
on Wednesday, it was a victory over the central jutland in the finals in the Danish league, and on Saturday won the vestjyderne as the first of two EHF Cup semi-finals over the Herning-Ikast with one of 23-20. Both matches were played in Ikast.
Esbjergenserne was ahead with two goals at the break, which was 12-10. The lead was thus increased with a single goal in the second half.
The second and decisive semi-final between the two teams will be played next Sunday in Esbjerg at 13.
Viborg HK also played semi-final in the EHF cup Saturday, and the team has a little catching up after the first encounter with the Hungarian Siofok. Here lost viborgenserne 24-28 at stamford bridge.
