The Australian Federation confirmed on Tuesday that Eddie Jones had resigned as coach of the Wallabies, who were eliminated for the first time in their history before the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup.
“Rugby Australia can confirm that it has accepted the resignation of Wallabies coach Eddie Jones and that he will leave his role on November 25,” she wrote in a statement. Aged 63, Jones will have remained in office for less than ten months.
