The Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, has sent her followers on Twitter in April. In the night from Sunday to Monday, the 16-year-old schoolgirl wrote: “After I have spoken with so many of our leaders, I understood now that you have the climate crisis in the handle. They understand the urgency and are ready to act. Therefore, I have decided now to continue the strike and to go back to school. I’m not going to Fridays is a strike for longer.“ Later, Thunberg broke in on the joke and wrote: “I’m just kidding, of course.”
Since August, 2018 the 16-Year-old is on strike for more climate protection in the world. Their Protest has now inspired people all over the world, to go to Fridays on the road to look for a different climate policy. On Saturday, the young Swede was awarded in Berlin with the Golden camera. (dpa)
