It is a spectacular sight that greets you when you visit naturvidunderet the Grand Canyon, which is located in one of the largest national parks in the UNITED states.
Each year, about 6.5 million tourists to the canyon, and many document the sight with their camera. But it can go horribly wrong if you are not aware of where you step. Most of the gap is not blocked by a railing or other obstructions which prevent people from falling out down, if they come too close to the edge.

on Thursday it went wrong, when a man in the 50’s fell into the gorge in the area around the belvedere Eagle Point the Skywalk in the western part of the Grand Canyon.
It writes several american media, including CBS News and CNN.
the Area is popular, because here you will find the Skywalk, which is a look-out shaped like a horseshoe and goes out over the gap. The belvedere has a footbridge of glass, where you can look straight down into the gorge.

When the accident happened on Thursday, there were few visitors, and the man from Hong Kong, whose identity has not been disclosed, went around and took pictures of the gorge, when he stumbled and fell, telling the spokesman for the Grand Canyon West, David Leibowitz, according to CBS News.
There are otherwise signs, which warn against going too close to the edge, but the man ignored the apparently these. A helicopter was deployed in order to download the right of the tourist, which was found 300 feet down.
David Leibowitz stresses that the tourist is not presently on the sentinel’s post, when he fell.
