Congress has previously voted to repeal the state of emergency Trump issued at the U.S. southern border in order to receive funding for the construction of a gränsbarriär, it also called a wall. Trump then laid its first presidentveto against the congress’s decision.
In an attempt to negate the veto, voted 248 members in the house of representatives yes 181 no. It is, however, required a two-thirds majority to overrule the president’s veto. In other words, fixed and Trump has continued special powers to reallocate federal resources.
