The British parliament has had an amendment approved that the representatives of the people free job this week to vote on alternatives to the brexitdeal that prime minister Theresa May with the European Union has closed. With 329 against 302 votes, very much against the sense of the government, the so-called Letwin-amendment adopted that is intended to be for a day the parliamentary agenda to hijack. Three ministers got behind the proposal and resigned from the government.

The amendment was submitted by Oliver Letwin, a Tory from May’s Conservative Party, in cooperation with partijgenoot Dominic Grieve and Hilary Benn of the Labour. It came just after May had to admit that the deal that they have with the EU has reached after two years of negotiations is still not sufficient support in the parliament. Parliamentarians have so far already two times against the brexitdeal of prime minister Theresa May voted.
