Just a week after the racism scandal during the football game between Germany and Serbia, the police has initiated in Wolfsburg, a further investigation for suspicion of incitement to hatred and insult. According to police, a witness had written to the German football Association reported, and shown that two members of the audience would be insulted during the game on Wednesday evening, several players racist. The DFB have in turn forwarded this to the police in Wolfsburg.

“The investigations are currently at the beginning, and we now need to evaluate evidence and possible witnesses,” said police spokesman Thomas Figge on Monday. Also, the DFB confirmed the facts of the case: “We can confirm that a second racism case was reported in Wolfsburg. First of all, the DFB was informed by telephone of the witnesses, the case was of the witnesses to light, and from the DFB to the police redirected exist in written form,“ said the Association on request. “The DFB supports the police investigation of analog in the first Case, to the full extent.”
