The Flemish government will be 250,000 euros free for Mozambique and Malawi following the devastating passage of cyclone Idai. That report, the Flemish minister-president Geert Bourgeois and Flemish minister Koen Van den Heuvel, in a statement.
The money goes primarily to relieve the most urgent needs. The Red Cross Flanders is committed currently to safe water, a temporary shelter and the necessary primary goods to deliver to people that their entire have and love lost. The organization focuses primarily on remote rural communities due to floods and landslides fully enclosed and still no help received.

in Addition, the Red Cross Flanders ‘climate-related disaster preparedness in the region. The organization has currently a climate project in the border area between Malawi and Mozambique. Thanks to a hatch within this program was the Red Cross immediate funding for urgent assistance. So, the organization has managed to 5,000 of relief aid on the spot to get even before the access roads for days had closed.
“The poorest countries in the South are affected by climate change.
