You may think that you are tired of nagging about the tv-series ”Game of thrones”, whose final season starts in mid-april, but then you’ve never seen ”Game of thrones” recreated by the little squirrels.
It is the photographer Geert Weggen who took the pictures, where the little squirrels riding on dragons, fighting with swords and struggling with the oars on a stormy sea – often with a nut in the paws – in jämtländskt snowscapes.
” I like the course, ”Game of thrones”, otherwise I would not have done the series. And now it’s the last season, so it was a way to honor the series, ” says Geert Weggen.

” After six years, I know quite well what they are doing and not doing. Everything is about where I put the food. If I want the squirrel to sit far forward on the dragon, I must add the food on top of the head. And I put some food behind the dragon eats the first, then climb up from behind. Sometimes it can take five days before I have my picture.
– Sometimes, the rewards I them when they have done something I think about. Then I come with food in hand, maybe a walnut, a peanut, and a seed. Often opt for the peanut. The other squirrels are a little wiser and choose the biggest thing I have in hand. There are several squirrels who don’t like nuts at all, they just choose the seeds.

– Yes, the squirrels always win. They get exactly what they want.
