It has the French military governor of Paris, general Bruno Le Ray, said Friday.

the Statement comes after, it has been announced that the French Army will be deployed as a complement to the 5000 police officers, who are already deployed to ensure peace and order in connection with The Yellow Vestes demonstration on Saturday.
– If their own lives are in danger, or if the lives of the people they protect, are in danger, they have permission to open fire, said general Le Ray to Franceinfo Radio.
Several thousand French soldiers from ‘Operation Sentinelle’ will be placed in front of numerous official buildings and other important places to protect against looting and vandalism.
Last Saturday there was extensive rioting and destruction in connection with The Yellow Armour’s demonstration in Paris. It was here that the banks and various shops and restaurants looted and burned down.
