“even so, it is mainly the men that takes place around the grill, almost three out of four men say that they usually grills in the household, while only one in ten women state that they are for the roasting.”
“– About three out of four women feel themselves troubled for the climate, and almost as many believe that it makes a difference what food we choose to put on the grill. Men worry not to the same extent as the women, which is particularly interesting due to the fact that it is precisely the men who usually grills in the Swedish households, ” says Maria Smith, head of sustainability strategy and development at ICA Sweden.”
“More than every other woman stated that they mainly account for other cooking in the household, but only one in ten report that they usually grills in their household. Just over six out of ten women respond, however, that they usually stand for grilltillbehören, compared with two of ten men. And it is probably here the solution is. We may simply change places, men may let go of grilltången and stay in the kitchen and women may take a seat at the grill – all for the climate.”
