Internet In New Zealand shoot someone in a mosque fifty innocent people dead. One of the first comments under the Facebook article that we are about to post is an image of someone who is happy popcorn eating. Someone else writes: “They had him a statue. Finally someone who want to do something about that invasion of brown monkeys.” These are just two examples of some of the dozens of disgusting comments below the article posted. Sure there is the right to free speech and we can discuss about migration or integration. But to have this kind of reactions have nothing to do. It is pure vilein racism.

Unfortunately, come as a surprise that kind of reaction, if not more. Especially Facebook is a place where the insensitivity and the total lack of empathy from some users shocking. And not only under the articles where it is on migration or religion. The death of a politician was one of the first reactions someone that gave him an even longer cancer-agony wished. And then a few weeks ago a boy died at the touch of the overhead wire of a railway, responded to a man with only two words: “Natural selection.”

I have him as editor-in-chief personally called. It was not difficult to get the phone number to be found, because despite the degoutantigheid of his reaction, he posted under his own name. Or he realized how sickening such a comment to their family and friends would happen? Or he that in an accident with his children or partner also might want to: that complete strangers with such a lack of compassion respond? On the other side of the phone came only gestamel. Typical: big mouth on Facebook, but hardly know what to say during a real conversation. Finally, it was there only that he contacted wanted to be. He didn’t need to: we have this user be permanently banned from our facebook page.
