Better Internet and a new Computer in the classroom: After the Bundestag has now agreed to the Federal Council the “digital Pact school”, and thus opened the way for the necessary amendment to the basic law.
The Federal government can push ahead in the future with billions in aid to the digitisation of Germany’s schools. An Amendment of the basic law is necessary. The Bundestag had on 21. February already agreed. Today, the Federal Council also approved the negotiated amendment to the Constitution, and finally the way for the so-called digital Pact school. The vote in the Bundesrat was unanimously.
