Air Canada flight was delayed for eight hours – a pilot ordered for a consolation pizza for passengers

Air Canada flight from Toronto to Halifax was delayed by eight hours a week ago Monday. CBC:according to the flight passengers were forced to because of a snowstorm to stop at the New Brunswick Frederictonissa.

Pilot to make passengers feel better. Many hours of waiting did not bring joy to anyone. Therefore, the pilot ordered the 23 pizza from a nearby restaurant directly to the machine.

Restaurant owner Roch Larivée told the CBC:the staff surprised order. The aircraft has not been previously ordered pizza, Larivée clarify.

– we Take big orders constantly, but in the past we have provided storm pizza on the plane. I hope pizza brought joy, Larivée says.

the Aircraft passenger Bill Karsten published on Twitter a picture of the arrival of the pizza. Karsten told a canadian site, that pizza tasted good. He also praises the aircraft in a good mood.
