In the evening, the 650 mps get to vote on a proposal from the government that goes out to shoot up the Brexit. The reason is that the european parliament has said no to the agreement that the government negotiated with the EU.
the Provisions in the EU, as well as in the uk the law on Brexit, says that the Uk should leave the EUROPEAN union on 29 march. But because the parliament requires that the country leaves an agreement, need to the prime minister, Theresa May a longer time to get through such an agreement in its parliament.
the Proposal, which the government has put in is specially formulated. It asks parliament to vote yes to a technical extension of the notice period to 30 June. But only if parliament accepted the Mays Brexitavtal. Technical extension means that the Uk needs a few months to bring a new agreement into their legislation.
Theresa May prefer, in which case as short an extension as possible. The problem for her is that if the Uk remains a member of the EUROPEAN union on 23 may, the country must hold elections to the european Parliament, such are the provisions of the European union.
Theresa May really don’t want to. However, other parts of the house will not mind to elect new members of the EUROPEAN parliament.
It is the EUROPEAN union’s 27 heads of state and government that decides whether the Uk will get an extension. They must be united in the question. The announcement from the EU leaders said to come in connection with a summit that is on 21 and 22 march in Brussels.
On Thursday tweeted Donald Tusk, president of the European council and the representative of the heads of state and government, that he wants to have a longer transitional period. The rest of the EU is namely difficult to see what it can do for the difference to just extend the notice period by a few months.

Countries hope that if the Uk gets a longer time on the political conditions in the country changed, for example, at a parliamentary election or a referendum.
It starts at 18 cet. But before the government’s proposals will up to the decision, the 650 members vote on the various amendments submitted by parliamentarians. These are:
• Proposal H (Sarah Wollaston, the independent, formerly conservative Tories). Extend förhandlingstiden to catch hold a new referendum on EU membership.
• the Proposals In (several members). Let the parliament take over the entire Brexitprocessen from 20 march to find a way forward.
• the Proposal E (the Labour party). Extend förhandlingstiden to be able to reach a majority in parliament for a different solution than Theresa Mays.
• the Proposal (J) (Chris Bryant, Labour). Stop the government from once again present its Brexitavtal to a vote in parliament.
