At the entrance to Pipilotti rist’s exhibition at Louisiana is the first spotlight artist himself, who obviously want out. In the title piece, ”Open my glade” presses herself against a pane of glass so that the facial features and make-up flows – winks to the feminist predecessor as Ana Mendieta and Cindy Sherman.

In the next step, step to the crowd on the video ”Mutaflor”, projected on the floor, with a large mouth that ”gobbles” the viewer. And once inside in the first hall, or the glade, opening to the ”intimate room” in the form of handbags. Looking down into a bag you can see an ”eye” to look up; a small round LCD monitor which reflects the flickering, blurred images. In a snippliknande seashell next to the reels of moving pictures of a real eye, as surreal staring back.

this is how Pipilotti Rist operating – across to museum conventions. This anarchist artist turns inside out, upside down, on the picture frame. She blasts the white cube frames, laborerar with the scale, embrace the blur, and in a string of inviting room installations she releases loose a stream of moving images which is spinning, flowing, flowing over all widths. It is bathed in a dreamlike bildvågor and dive with the camera down under the water, enveloped in a brilliant light, colours and congenial soundtrack.

I love Piplotti Rist! Her art is magnetic, musical and soft organic, but at the same time, cross-border sharp. The location of the work is ”Sip my ocean”, where the Grid is doing a cover of a love ballad by Chris Isaak and hysterically skrålar ”I don’t waaaanna fall in love” to the hallucinatory underwater images from the Red sea.

This audio-visual record is, of course, Louisiana’s selection, as well as the feminist fräckisen ”Ever is over all”. At the end of the 90’s, she became the art world’s darling with this video, where a girlish woman smashes car window with furious good mood. Here, you think, very timely in monet’s water lily ponds, it and the baroque floating cloud formations. But as a contemporary artist using the Grid the camera lens as an extension of the eye and ”paints” with a camera.

Images are taken from the mikroskåpiska insights and solariserade ”after-images” in the eye, intertwined in a 54 metres long, winding väggverk.

I walk several laps around the in this peculiar, evocative environment and discover something new each time. A stuffed ostrich, a Russian babusjkadocka, a imploderad globe, a no-mask, a test pattern from tv’s infancy, a divan which could have been Freud’s, facing a desk where it rolls a kalejdoskåpiskt bildflöde.

It is one of my favourite piece, and in the Louisiana park can I get a new, ”Hiplights”. It consists of white panties with lace, hung with tvättklämmor in long ropes, and in the evenings, illuminated from within like japanese lanterns.

The easy ekivoka the garments hanging criss-cross through the whole park and makes me so exhilarated that I immediately want to go out again in the Pipilottis generous open glades.
