“Hundreds of pigeons scuttled after damage to property”
“Hundreds of pigeons left the nest then someone busted ingångsanordningarna in their house in Svalövs Brevduveklubb, probably during the night on Saturday, writes Kvällsposten.”
“– I first thought that it was my father who had released the pigeons for exercise, but then I saw that ingångsanordningarna was destroyed. Then, we understood that it was about vandalism. I think it’s awful, ” says pigeon owner Jimmy Lantz to Kvällsposten.”
“All of the pigeons returned to the house, but some of the injured during the night on the run.”
“– Total released a hundred doves out. As it looks now it has all come back, what we know we have not been with anyone. However, we have a few pieces that are damaged. Maybe they have flown against anything during the night. Do you let out the pigeons in the evening, anything can happen, it will be an extra stresspåslag for them, ” says Jimmy Lantz.”
“According to the police, no witnesses to the vandalism. The total value of the pigeons is estimated at around 120 000 sek.”
