when it comes to sales and marketing of mobile phones. Yet the company remains interesting. Especially because it continually launches new technology that perhaps can ‘infect’ other and more relevant manufacturers.
How is it also just occurred during the mobilmessen in Barcelona, where the new mobile LG G8 ThinQ was launched. It has a feature called Air Motion, where the phone uses the built-in sensors for face detection to be able to read your gestures.
In practice, it works know that if someone calls, you can lift your hand and drag to the left or to the right in the empty air in front of the screen – depending on whether you will answer or reject the call. You can also add shortcuts to control the functions during the playback of music or navigation in Google Maps.
You can in the same way, squeeze your fingers together to take a screenshot. Or, slide your fingers together, as if they held on to a volume knob and then adjust the sound level.
During our first test of the technology, it seemed as if the phone fairly quickly and smoothly captured our gestures. The question is then just how nyttefuld or desirable possibility in reality.

A beautiful smart phone
There is now glass on both the front and back. However, the latter has the best Gorilla Glass 6, while the front will have to make do with the weaker version 5.
LG utilized the glass to create sound by vibrating with it. It is known already from the most expensive OLED-tv from Sony. And it worked quite well when we tried it in Barcelona.
It must be stressed, however, that the music was chosen by the LG, then the final judgment falls first, when we have tested the phone properly. It also applies to the rest of the features, since the model we tried was not the final model, but a first beta release.

How to display
with really good color reproduction and brightness. Samsung’s S10, which has just launched, is a notch better on that front, but the LG is not bad.
the Battery is of 3500 mAh, you get 6 GB of working memory and 128 GB of storage. The processor is a Snapdragon 855.
LG has no plans to launch the phone in Denmark, but there will probably be opportunity to buy it via other sales channels. Danish price and the purchase date is unknown.
