It was a third party who discovered the fire in the apartment and alerted the police and the emergency services.
“When we came to the place and had a person taken out on the balcony and it was burning heavily inside the apartment,” says Ronnie Lindberg, internal command at the Emergency services.
– When we could enter the apartment, we found a person who then disappears, ” continues Ronnie Lindberg.
but one man died of his injuries.
Other residents had to be evacuated during the fire fighting, but they have now been able to return to their homes. The police have held initial interviews with the witnesses and the apartment is cordoned for the technical investigation.
A preliminary investigation on the allmänfarlig negligence has been opened but none has been served on suspicion of crimes.
