In an application for a temporary injunction before the district court in Washington called Ahmed Ali Muthana on Thursday that the US citizenship is recognised for his U.S.-born daughter and return with her young son in the USA. His daughter was ready to face the US justice system.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Syria imprisoned Muthana should not return to the United States. US Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that the 24-Year-old was “not a US citizen, and you will not be left in the United States”.
The case is legally complicated: In the United States-born people receive in the normal case, the US citizenship. This is not the case for the children of foreign diplomats.

Ahmed Ali Muthana was a Diplomat for the Yemen at the United Nations in New York. According to his application for a temporary injunction before the court of the Yemen called on him in June 1994, his diplomatic passport to return.
