PSG: Milan Škriniar Vows to Make a Comeback!
Paris Saint-Germain’s defender, Milan Škriniar, known for his exceptional performance during his time at Inter Milan, joined PSG last summer. Despite high expectations, his performance has been inconsistent, leading to disappointment among fans and management.
Disappointingly, Škriniar’s playing time reduced towards the end of the season, with only 5 starting appearances in 2024 and no participation in the Champions League. In a recent interview with Sport Web, he acknowledged his below-par performance post-injury, stating, “I was one of the most utilized players until my injury. I had to be out for four and a half months but returned two months earlier. I know I could have done better after the injury.”
However, the Slovakian defender seems determined to bounce back, especially after being selected for the Euro 2024 tournament with Slovakia. Despite facing tough competition for a starting position, Škriniar is motivated to improve his physical condition and reclaim his spot in the team.
Acknowledging the physical demands of his position, Škriniar emphasized the importance of being in optimum physical shape to deliver his best performance. Despite rumors of a potential departure from PSG, he remains committed to the club, stating, “I am happy in Paris, and I have never regretted my decision to join the club. PSG is an excellent club, and I am looking forward to the new season.”
As Milan Škriniar prepares to make his comeback at PSG, fans eagerly await his resurgence on the field, hoping to witness his true potential in the upcoming season.
