Science & Planet Scientists have the discovery is reported of a new dinosaurussoort with a superlange neck and that would make us learn more about why some dino’s so great.
The new type listens to the name – hold on tight – Mnyamawamtuka moyowamkia. That is Swahili for ‘animal of the Mtuka with a tail in the shape of a heart’. The Mtuka of which there is the riverbed in Tanzania where fossils of the animal were found.

The bones were in 2004 already discovered, but it took years before they dug up were. That was because there are remains of different types of dino’s in the riverbed were. Then it took me another few years before the analysis of the fossils, was ready. They had from the rocks to be removed, there would have to be determined for bones of any kind and then also within each species – or the bones of one or more animals. the
Wednesday was the official notice in the scientific journal Plos One: there was a new species and the skeleton was complete. It was going to be a new species of the genus titanosaurus, well known for their huge size, long neck and tail and minikopje. Remarkable trait: they had staartbeentjes in the shape of a heart.
