Little George was not the positive words of the doctors who told the parents of five times, that he would not survive.

When he was born, he was not much bigger than a ketchupflaske. He had both septicaemia and meningitis, but the little boy fought well.

After 26 weeks in the hospital, he was miraculously discharged from the hospital.

Mother Hanna Rose told to the Mirror that there had been good chances for the baby.

Doctors told us that George had one out of a million chance to survive, and it was almost impossible. I was sure that he would die, so that he survived is really a miracle. Every day we have with him is truly a blessing.

Hanna Rose saw otherwise a completely normal pregnancy, but just before the limit for abortion in England, she began to get pain in the back.

I thought, actually, that it was pain, I really thought that it was because I was going to give birth. I was really not very far along, she says.

But it was the birth that was started too early.

– I was totally crushed. I thought that George would be stillborn. I was so worried. My world fell together.

She describes her baby as a real ‘fight’.

When he came out he was immediately connected to a machine to help him breathe.

– He got the operations with the same. We could not touch him, because he was born with completely transparent skin.

the Parents got more time told, that it was not possible to rescue George. But suddenly began the new-born child to get better.

– While we sat and read for him, went his infektionstal suddenly down. It was absolutely amazing, tells Hanna Rose, who, after the 26 weeks could get her baby home from the hospital.

Because George is born too early, though, he is still in need of surgeries and blood transfusions.

– He has an appointment at the hospital every day, and his movements are quite restrictive. But we are so happy that he is alive. He has shown them all along that they were wrong. We believe that with the right help, he should do well, says the mother.
