Continuing his visit to the Marseille city, Pope Francis held a mass on Saturday at the Orange Vélodrome. Like the Olympique de Marseille matches, the 60,000 faithful who were there held up an incredible tifo to celebrate the event.
Pope Francis arrived in Marseille the day before. A first mass took place at Notre-Dame de la Garde the same evening. On Saturday, he went up the entire avenue du Prado in a “papamobile”, the pontiff’s car, to reach the Vélodrome and give his immense mass there.
