In the last week was 1.7 per cent of those who went to the doctor a diagnosis of flu-like illness. The week before the share was 1.4 per cent, shows the weekly influensarapporten from the Norwegian institute of public health (FHI).
Influenza A (H1N1) are in clear majority in most places. This is the virus that made the pandemic in 2009 and then was called “swine flu”. The virus has since then circulated regularly and is now considered a normal sesonginfluensavirus.
Total, the proportion of influensapositive from 18.3 to 22,2 per cent in the previous week, after having remained approximately unchanged since several weeks after christmas.
Still is the low flu activity throughout the country, but in the county of Vestfold, Østfold and Aust-Agder have the proportion reached intermediate level.
FHI is expecting a further increase in the time to come, especially in the end of February
