For his first start with Al-Hilal, Neymar is already doing Neymar. The Brazilian was the author of an ugly gesture of frustration which could have cost him dearly, and prevented his Al-Hilal team from equalizing in added time against the Uzbek club Navbahor (1-1), in Asian Champions League on Monday.

Customary of gestures of humor when he was having a bad day in Paris, Neymar stood out with a bloody attack which could have earned him more than a simple warning on Monday evening.

Furious that an opponent was trying to hinder him, when he wanted to play his free kick quickly, the Brazilian threw him to the ground before shooting him deliberately. The referee was rather lenient by giving him a simple yellow card which allowed him to end the match, and his team to finish the match at 11 to snatch the equalizer in added time.

This was Neymar’s second appearance in his new colors. The Brazilian made his debut in the Saudi Pro League during his team’s crushing 6-1 victory against Al-Riyadh last week.

Coming into play in the second half, the former PSG player was involved in four of his team’s six goals last Friday. The Brazilian did not have the same success on Monday evening, which had the gift of particularly irritating him.
