We knew Jean-Paul Belmondo’s stunts on the roofs of Galeries Lafayette in Henri Verneuil’s Fear of the City. This Sunday, as part of the 2023 Heritage Days, it was the dancers of the company L’Oubli(é), who in a more artistic way it is true, performed dizzying acrobatics on the peaks of the Palais-Royal in front of the amazed eyes of passers-by.
Raphaëlle Boitel, the choreographer and director of this unique show, explained why she designed it: “The goal of this project is to take possession of a heritage, to highlight it and to offer gives spectators a different way of looking at it.

Vassiliki Rossillon, a gifted circus artist specializing in the flying rope, a circus art that is the ancestor of the trapeze dating back to the 18th century, gave our colleagues at CNews her feelings about this singular and spectacular performance: “We created an osmosis with a building that has an experience, which has a story. “The idea is to be able to arrive at these buildings, invest in them and make them even more beautiful.”
Passers-by and other spectators who love the beautiful heritage and its display can come and admire these acrobats and the Palais-Royal today at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The thrill is guaranteed.
